Not Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United youth player in the race for the europen golden boot

When it comes to being the top goal scorer in Europe they obvious names always come to mind in the last few years. those names obviously include Argentine phenomenon Lionel Messi,  and ex Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo to name a few.

Although that list of names has not been changing a lot during the last few years that certainly looks not to be the case this year and in the following years to come. We're at the beginning of March and all the usual suspects that would appear on it seem to be along way away.

If we look at the names that appear on the list of top European scores at this time you might be surprised by the names that talk this prestigious race in European football.  But you might actually be surprised by the inclusion of  a  Manchester United academy product.

The United player that appears to be within the top three best poachers and goal scores in the European game at this moment in time is non other then the team's talisman and number 10 Englishman Marcus Rashford who has had a terrific campaign.

Can Rashford win the award?

Manchester United fans and certainly Marcus Rashford himself will be hoping that he can keep this immense form in front of goal for the remainder of the season not only because they need to secure hey top four finish in the Premier League but also because it would mean he would be in with a real chance to win this accolade.
