Manchester United has been able to reinforce well during this summer, the coach has at his disposal the players he was looking for, because he was able to reinforce in a good way, three positions of the field that were missing and that during last season were one of the weaknesses of the team, so now it is expected that they can do a good role and be able to "fight" in all competitions.
The first position that Ten Hag was looking for was midfield, the coach knew that he needed a player who could help more in the offensive part, so his first signing of the season was Mason Mount, who could arrive for 60 million and likewise speaking of the offense, the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund was of vital importance to the team as they had not been able to get a good striker, for some years.
However, the most talked about position was the goalkeeper, because after the abrupt departure of David de Gea, after 12 years in goal for United, rumours began to surface about who would be the first choice goalkeeper, and in the end Ten Hag chose André Onana, with whom he had already had a relationship through his time at Ajax.
Even so, speculation continues to grow because Ten Hag would not be enough just to have the Cameroonian goalkeeper, because according to some reports, he would be looking for his understudy, preferably a young player that he can take little by little as if it were a project, so now the board will have to be looking for this goalkeeper.
The English goalkeeper has not been able to fit into Ten Hag's system, so his departure looks increasingly likely, which leaves the club with the need to find a new goalkeeper to serve as a substitute for Andre Onana; according to rumours, two players are in the coach's sights, the Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki and the Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, are the two options for which the coach would opt for the next season.
