Manchester United fans where excited when Marcus Rashford decided to stay with the team for the next seasons, but there is the real character they should be thanking for achieving that.

The fact is that Marcus Rashford had several offers, especially the one from the PSG team that would have send him away of Manchester United, and now the player has confirmed that he would have accepted one of the offers if it was not for this character that had a really important role in his decision to stay with the red devils for the next seasons.

Now Marcus Rashford has confessed the when asked if he considered leaving the team at some point, “Before the manager (Ten Hag) came maybe a little bit, but it is football and it happens. Everything is going to happen for a reason and he came to the club at the right time for me, the timing worked out.” and now he has a new role under the manager himself.

Marcus Rashford decided to sign the contract that is going to keep him at Manchester United for the next five years at least, and now it seems that we would need to thank Erik ten Hag for doing that and of course to giving Rashford a role as one of the most important players in the squad, that could eventually be the reason he has decided to stay with the team as well.

Marcus Rashford role

The fact is that it has been reported several times that the team is currenly getting built around Marcus Rashford meaning that the importance that he currently has with the team could also have been key to make sure that he did not signed the offers that PSG put on his table.
