Manchester United are already preparing for the start of pre-season, the team has been meeting all week at Carrington for a series of training sessions; this is an opportunity for the club's less experienced players and new signings to showcase themselves so that the manager can take them into account for the season.

However, not all the players travelled with the team to Oslo to face the first match of this pre-season, the Brazilian full-back, Alex Telles, would have stayed in Manchester, after the coach did not decide to call him up, this has clearly generated more doubts for the player, as it has been speculated that his future at Old Trafford could come to an end.

The full-back spent the whole of last season on loan with Sevilla and now that he is back at the club, it is expected that his departure will take place before the end of the summer, with the reason that he would not fit into Erik Ten Hag's plans, so the club would begin to move the situation to give the player an early exit and that could benefit both parties.

Another reason why Telles would be close to leaving would be because of his contract, as it expires until next year, which would mean the last chance for United to sell him and have an economic benefit, which would be very useful for the coach with his idea of continuing to bring new signings to the club.

Possible destinations for Alex Telles

Manchester United have a list of players they need to sell in order to bring in the signings Erik Ten Hag has asked for, which is why the Brazilian winger's departure looks likely, as according to some rumours he could return to his former club FC Porto, while he has denied his interest in joining another Portuguese giant such as Benfica due to his past with the Dragons.
