Manchester United continues to make many changes for next season, the club is going through a total renovation that is expected to help them achieve titles; that is why between the sale of players, the arrival of reinforcements and the planning of the pre-season; Erik Ten Hag is planning to make official a decision that will undoubtedly benefit the team.

We know what Harry Maguire has been through during the last few months, the Dutch coach decided to take away his starting place, so he has seen few minutes of play, in addition to that he would have been informed that he will no longer be available for next season, so the club plans to sell him before the end of the summer, this has certainly been hard news for the defender, however, there would be another that many fans will applaud.

As we remember at some point last season, United would have appointed Maguire as one of their captains, something that most of us thought was unfair and probably ridiculous given his performance on the pitch; it wasn't until Ten Hag decided to bench the defender and strip him of the captaincy that many of us were calling for.

For that reason, the news would soon come out that Erik Ten Hag, would reaffirm Bruno Fernandes as the captain of Manchester United; there is no doubt that the midfielder is the most deserving of that privilege, his great leadership on and off the pitch has made him one of the favourites of all the Red Devils fans.

Bruno Fernandes' impact with United

Since his arrival in the 19/20 season, the Portuguese midfielder has had a great reception from the whole of Manchester United, he has been one of the key players and Ten Hag plans to keep him there for the future; since his first season with the club his performance has been very good and he has been improving every season, he is an undisputed starter and now the manager has reaffirmed him as our captain for the next season.
