Manchester United are still looking to make some moves before the transfer window closes, the manager will have to hurry as there are only two weeks left before the transfer window closes, which is why he is expected to start negotiating soon with interested players after a week full of failed moves.

A couple of days ago the manager was excited about the news of being able to sell Harry Maguire and that with his transfer he could look for a defensive player to serve as a replacement, however, negotiations between West Ham and United have fallen through completely, as the Briton has demanded a compensation of £15 million, which the club has not been able to do so far, so the Irons got tired of waiting and withdrew their offer of £30 million to look for new options.

This not only affects the team who had been negotiating the transfer for some weeks, as Maguire was one of the targets who was expected to leave the club before the end of the summer, this situation has also affected Benjamin Pavard who had shown much interest in coming to Old Trafford, given that he openly stated that he did not feel more comfortable with Bayern Munich

Even so, at the moment it seems very complicated for the Red Devils to sign the French defender, so Ten Hag would be looking for new options to cover certain positions that the coach has considered important to reinforce in the face of all the competitions that the team will play.

A new alternative for Ten Hag

While one of the signings that were most expected by the show of interest by the player, it will no longer be possible; the Dutch coach would now be in search of new elements for the season, one of them is Ryan Gravenberch, the Bayern Munich midfielder is one of the options that Ten Hag has, as the Bavarian club would be willing to let him out for 30 million pounds, plus the player already knows Ten Hag for his time at Ajax, so it could be a great option for the squad.
