Neither De Gea nor Onana, Ten Hag's first choice goalkeeper for pre-season

Manchester United are still not sure who will be their new goalkeeper for next season, much has been said about it, but there is still no clear resolution, although many rumours have come out, what is certain is that pre-season is about to start and Ten Hag does not have his first-choice goalkeeper. 

The issue of David de Gea with United looks quite complicated, the Spanish goalkeeper has not yet reached an agreement with the club for the renewal of his contract; although it has been speculated that he has offers from teams in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, the goalkeeper has not yet decided his future, but hopes that the situation with the Red Devils will be resolved soon. 

On the other hand, André Onana who is the number 1 candidate to replace De Gea, is still in talks with Manchester United, who for some weeks now have shown their great interest in bringing the player to Old Trafford, recently the club made an offer of 52 million pounds for the Cameroonian goalkeeper, this would be a bit out of the budget that the team would have to spend, but Ten Hag wants him at any cost. 

So for the moment the goalkeeping situation is a bit of an unknown quantity; the team is concentrating on Carrington for the start of their pre-season tour, in which they will take part in 8 games over a 25 day period. 

Dean Henderson looks like Ten Hag's option

The British goalkeeper has been training with the team at Carrington, after not being able to count on De Gea or Onana; Dean Henderson is the only alternative that the coach has to start the pre-season, even so it is believed that the situation with the goalkeepers will be solved soon, so once one of the other goalkeepers joins the team, Henderson's role could be as a substitute or there is even talk of a possible exit from the club.
