The fact is that Manchester United are now considering the deal for Rasmus Hojlund, now that he could be one of the most expensive signings in the past seasons for the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag wants to make sure that he actually has a new striker for Manchester United in the next season, and while the main idea is to sign Rasmus Hojlund, it seems that the deal could not go trough, especially now that the young player could become one of the most expensive transfers in the recent Premier League history.

The team to beat is still Manchester City for the next season, and with a great striker like Erling Haaland it seems that it is going to be a hard task, and that is why Erik ten Hag is looking to sign players that could actually have a really quick impact like the norwegian striker had with the Citizens on his first season with the rival team.

And while Erling Haaland deal was reported to include an amount of 60 million euros from the german team to the Citizens, it has been reported by “Sky Sports” and several other sources that Atalanta are actually expecting to get at least 90 million euros to let go of Rasmus Hojlund and let him arrive to Manchester United.

Rasmus Hojlund deal

Those same sources have also reported that Manchester United still believe that they could actually bring the price for Rasmus Hojlund down to 70 million euros at least, but it is also a fact that if they are not able to do that, the red devils managaer is more than ready to stop chasing that deal and could start looking for some other options that would actually fit the current budget that the red devils have for a striker.
