Manchester United fought hard to get Mason Mount, the signing of the player was not easy for the team and for Ten Hag, who would have shown much interest in the midfielder and was one of his priorities in this transfer market. 

The fee that the team would pay for Mount is around £60 million, a figure somewhat higher than what United were willing to pay, but even so, and after 3 previous offers rejected by Chelsea, it would make Mount the first signing to join the club. 

Since the transfer was made official, many media, players and people related to United, would see this signing as one of the most important in the Ten Hag era, as the coach, was very excited to have him for the start of the new season; the red devils are looking for Mount to adapt quickly to the scheme of the manager and for that reason he would already be in Carrington for his medical tests.
