In recent weeks there has been a lot of rumours about the potential arrival of a striker for Manchester United, reinforcing the attack is one of the main topics for Ten Hag, who is seeking to give Rashford a hand in order to have more goal scoring options.
One of the players that Erik Ten Hag would most like to see at the club to reinforce the striker has been the British player Harry Kane, United are very interested in this player because they think that his qualities and skills adapt very well to their system of play, besides that he is one of the best players in his position and that he can be a great accompaniment to Rashford or in his absence take the starting position.
The club has been very close to Kane, who according to reports would be the only logical place for the striker to go, however, it has only remained talks as United have not made an official offer for the striker, so there is still no certainty on the signing.
Ten Hag is reportedly looking to acquire Kane as he is a key player the club cannot afford to lose, although a further update from the Tottenham boss could end all aspirations of the Dutch manager to land the Briton.
Manchester United are not giving up their pursuit of Harry Kane, as we know the striker is in the final year of his contract, so Spurs are desperate to do something with Kane, because if they can't reach a renewal deal, they would have to release him for next season, However, according to Tottenham owner Daniel Levy, the striker feels very comfortable at the club, is still training normally and hopes that as the weeks go by they can sort out his contract, so United's chances of signing him are becoming increasingly slim.
