Manchester United are still looking to sell the players that the manager has put on the transfer list since the start of the summer, as the club still wants to continue signing new reinforcements and with the budget they have at the moment it would not be enough to get the players they need, for that reason Eric Bailly would be one of those who is planned to leave soon.
The 29 year old central defender is returning from a loan period with Marseille, at the end of the season he had to report back to the Carrington facilities to start the preseason with his teammates, however, Erik Ten Hag did not call the Ivorian for the tour of the United States, so he is in Manchester doing work with the players who were not called.
This only hints at the decision the manager plans to make about Bailly's future, as multiple reports have indicated that his time at Old Trafford is nearing its end after six years at the club after joining from Villareal, so his departure is likely by the end of the summer, as Ten Hag is no longer counting on him for the start of the Premier League.
So, Eric Bailly joins Harry Maguire as the main central defenders who will leave the team soon; the Red Devils are looking for more players who are on the transfer list to be contacted by clubs during these weeks and there could be a negotiation for their transfer.
The Arab country has become one of the main destinations for several players this summer, thanks to its economic power and the big salaries they offer, players take it as a better option before continuing to play in Europe, so Eric Bailly has interested a couple of clubs in the Saudi Arabian League that are willing to pay the value of the player, in addition to that there is talk that they would offer a contract for 3 years, it only remains to be decided by Manchester United.
