It has now been reported that there is a new offer for Rasmus Hojlund on the table that could secure the arrival of the striker to the Erik ten Hag team in this transfer window.
The fact seems to be that Rasmus Hojlund could be closer than ever to finally become the new striker for Manchester United, now that it seems that both the red devils and the Atalanta team have reached an agreement new that there is a new and improved offer on the table that would go trough in the next few days to make the deal happen.
Now several sources including “La Gazetta dello Sport” have confirmed that Manchester United has now submitted the offer that includes a total of 65 million euros on the transfer fee and 5 million euros on add ons that would finally be accepted to let Rasmus Hojlund arrive to Old Trafford before the start of the Premier League.
While it was reported that the Atalanta team was expecting to get at least 80 million euros the fact that the player himself and their agents where pushing for the deal to happen, it seems that the 70 million offer would be more than enough for the Italian team to accept the offer that would allow Ten Hag to get their new striker for the next season.
The fact is that Rasmus Hojlund is set to become the main striker for the team, and while Erik ten Hag still wants to sign a second striker for the team, with the amount of money invested in Hojlund it seems that any other striker would arrive as a back up or even as an experienced player that could come off the bench to help the young striker perform at the expected level.
