After the closing hours of the deadline day, Manchester United succeeded in their attempt to sign a new midfielder to the ranks. The Red Devils did a deep dive during the last 48 hours of the window as they explored all possible midfield options accessible to them.

They eventually got decided and got a deal done for Bayern Munich star Marcel Sabitzer after they got greenlit from the player and club in quick succession. The move for Sabitzer was prompted by the horrendous injury to Christian Eriksen a few days before the window closed.

With Eriksen ruled out till May, Marcel Sabitzer was thrown straight into the thick of the actions at the club starting the last two matches in the league. His integration into the team has been welcomed by United fans, who have been in awe of how well he fits into the team.

Erik Ten Hag even shared great remarks about the 28-year-old star as he continues to form a great partnership with Fred in the midfield. According to reports, it is believed that Bayern Munich is willing to let go of the Austrian midfielder should United be interested in making his loan permanent.

How much would he cost?

With the midfielder getting few playing opportunities at Bayern, the Bavarian is reportedly willing to let him go for as low as 20 million euros in the coming summer. United had previously told Sabitzer that the club could sign him on a permanent deal if he impresses on his loan deal.
