Erik Ten Hag does not want to miss out on any chance of signing a player, even if he plays for Manchester City, although this is not very normal and rarely happens, the coach could find in the player the piece he was looking for to reinforce the offense.

Manchester United need a lot of help up front, with Rashford as the only way to score goals, the manager is already making moves in this transfer window to find a partner for the British striker so that the club can solve the problem of creating and finishing chances in front of goal.

Although during this summer there have been many rumours of possible attackers who would come to reinforce the team, Ten Hag has not been able to finalise any of them, this due to the high prices that clubs are valuing their players; the most talked about case was that of Harry Kane, for whom Manchester United had shown great interest, in addition to that the striker himself and several media had reported that the perfect place for the striker to arrive would be Old Trafford, as his style of play adapts to the coach's style.

However, Spurs reportedly reported that they would not be willing to give up their best player so talks stalled, so Ten Hag would continue to try to find the ideal player and who can also have a great relationship with Marcus Rashford as he would be the main striker of the team; but without imagining it a Manchester City player could be the solution.

Phil Foden and his relationship with United

As we all know Manchester United are doing pre-season to prepare for the start of the Premier League, many of the players that Ten Hag would have called are young players to whom he plans to give them a chance, while other first team players are training separately, Marcus Rashford, who in recent days has been seen preparing for the new season along with City's Phil Foden, whose playing time has been reduced with the arrival of Haaland, so a change of scenery could be good for him and Rashford could play a part in that.
