Manager Erik ten Hag landed at the club in large part because of the freedom he would be given to put together his team with the pieces he asked his board for. The team spent more than £200 million in the summer transfer window, breaking a record for the amount spent by the club in a single summer.
Manchester United are confident in what Erik ten Hag does with what he does, the level of power he has been given, and the freedom to sign players he wants for his project. It was speculated on more than one occasion that the team would go for some moves in their squad during the winter transfer window.
The player who admitted to be wanted by Man Utd, would replace Dalot and Wan-Bissaka
He is Man Utd's amulet, with this player when he starts the team always wins
Then information came out close to the club, which said that the meetings that Erik ten Hag will have during this international break, would be used to look for signings, or movements related to his current squad, and in this same week a statement came out that the board will not look to spend this winter, they will support Erik ten Hag in what he needs but they are thinking about summer 2023.
But so far, the club will be keeping an eye on what might happen in this month full of games, they will have more games than they have ever played, ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. It will be a month that will give rise to a possible January scenario as they look to supplement the squad.
Manchester United will be ready for any scenario they may face, they will try to continue to maintain the competitive level they are finding so as not to complicate their season. The Red Devils are aiming for big things this season and will do their best to win titles.
