Cristiano Ronaldo claims 19.5 million in arrears from Juventus, a demand that has surprised the Italian club, which understood that the Portuguese had already given up that money when he left for Manchester United.
The tug of war between Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus is close to reaching its final stretch. Late this afternoon, the lawyers of the Portuguese champion and those of Juventus will present their respective final briefs in the arbitration regarding the famous 19.5 million euros that CR7 believes they owe him in arrears of the second package salary (2020).
For its part, Juventus has no intention of meeting the demands of the current Al Nassr forward, who played in Turin from 2018 to 2021, ensuring that Cristiano himself has already waived the four months of salary disputed at the time of his move to Manchester United, an argument that was denied by the forward.
In June, Ronaldo resorted to arbitration, the trial phase of which has continued in recent months, also due to formal problems. Now, with the presentation of the final briefs of the two parties, there would only be one additional hearing - it is not certain that it will take place - in January, before the Arbitration Panel's ruling scheduled for April.
Furthermore, the collaborator of the Red Evils strategists explained why CR7 failed to continue his idolatry at Old Trafford. “When you deal with important people, these situations can occur. They want to look back and say: Wow, that was a success. And he probably hasn't been able to meet her needs. I don't know, because I never had that conversation with him. I think his goals were elsewhere,” he stressed.
