Manchester United, still undecided on a goalkeeper, the story has been changing version every day and that has caused the fans to feel uncertainty about who will be the new player who would occupy that position.
During the beginning of the summer there was talk that the Spanish goalkeeper, David de Gea would remain with the Red Devils, however, as time has gone by this is a possibility that looks increasingly complicated, given that the club has not been able to resolve the situation of his contract that expired on 1 July, this has meant that De Gea still does not have a definite future; in addition to this reason, there are other reasons that would suggest that the Spanish goalkeeper's time at United has definitely come to an end.
One of the main reasons is the likely arrival of André Onana, the club has shown too much interest in the Inter Milan goalkeeper, for whom some offers have already been made and talks are at an advanced stage, Erik Ten Hag plans to make the Cameroonian goalkeeper a starter from the moment he arrives.
Even so, according to sources close to the club, Erik Ten Hag would have in mind to hire a second goalkeeper, but because of the expense of hiring Onana, United could not pay a salary as high as that of De Gea, so it is speculated that there would be another much cheaper option and that would leave the Spanish goalkeeper with almost no chance of renewing.
Manchester United have shown their interest in Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, the price of 5 million that would cost his signing, coupled with his youth and skills, are the main reasons why the coach could choose the Japanese goalkeeper over De Gea; currently the club is in talks with Suzuki, but in the next few days the Red Devils could close his signing.
