Erik Ten Hag is still looking for players to strengthen the team for the new season, the coach has the idea to fill every possible gap either by bringing in new players or by taking on young players from the academy, with the intention to be able to win as many competitions as possible.

That is why Ten Hag has been so active in the transfer market and although only one player has been signed so far, the club does not want to waste any time in finalising the other players that the coach has already asked for. One of the players that United have been very interested in signing over the last few days is Sofyan Amrabat, the Moroccan has been the topic of conversation during the week.

There have been rumours that the Red Devils have been tracking him since the end of the World Cup, due to his great performances for his country, and in the second half of the season he was one of the key players for his team, Fiorentina, to reach the final of the Conference League, although they lost against West Ham.

Despite the strong interest in signing Amrabat and the openness of both sides to reach an agreement, there is still no official offer that would tie Amrabat to the club, as there have only been talks and rumours, which has caused Jurgen Klopp to look at the Moroccan with the intention of signing him, should United fail to reach an agreement with the player.

Amrabat's numbers

Last year was one of the best years in the Moroccan's career, his performance in the World Cup, in addition to his great season at Fiorentina, could open the doors to Manchester United, the team that has shown more interest in the player, in addition to that his 47 games and more than 3,000 minutes, guarantee that he is a key player for the Italian team, so his arrival at the club could be of very high value.
