Manchester United has already opened their winter transfer window with their signing of Jack Butland earlier this week after a smooth negotiation period with Crystal Palace. The signing of Jack Butland was a surprise first signing for the Red Devils fans.

Shortly after the transfer market opened, Manchester United had to let go of on-loan Martin Dubravka who was recalled from his loan spell with the club by Newcastle after not getting enough playing opportunities in the first half of the season which forced United to quickly sign Jack Butland.

United is reportedly looking to make a loan move for Depay though Barcelona is still debating whether to accept a loan move or recoup some more off Depay as his contract will expire in the summer.
