With the season about to start, Manchester United have the urgency to keep looking for new players to help the system that Erik Ten Hag has planned, as well as getting rid of players who are out of contract at the club and will not be renewed or players who are no longer part of United's plans.
Although the transfer window has been open for a month now, in the last few weeks there is still talk about possible players that Erik Ten Hag has asked for as priority reinforcements. These players have very essential characteristics that Ten Hag has been looking for, but the board has not been able to fulfil all of the coach's wishes so far, due to the low budget.
Despite Manchester United have made two signings so far, it should not be overlooked that negotiations have been a weak point for the team, as they ask for little money at the beginning and when the offers are rejected, the red devils need to restructure their budget in order to be able to offer more money.
For this reason, United fans are wondering if the team will be able to make any more signings before the Premier League kicks off, as they still need to reinforce the forward line and Ten Hag is looking for a midfielder with defensive qualities who can be a driving force in midfield and be the lifeblood for the team; however the Glazers have been left with their arms folded and due to their indecision the club cannot count on a bigger budget that will allow them to continue signing players they can count on to fight for all competitions.
The Qatari group has already put an offer on the table, which includes an economic way to sign any player regardless of the price, names like Kylian Mbappé, Neymar have emerged as possible candidates that could arrive after the sheikh could become the new owner, However, players like Hojlund or Amrabat who are really on the club's list of priorities could arrive without any problem, the only situation is that it seems that the Glazers do not plan to sell United this season, so we could say goodbye to those players.
