Erik Ten Hag still has a few moves to make before the end of the summer, the club still has at least two positions that have not been strengthened and the coach would be looking to make the necessary signings to improve the squad, which would allow them to have more title aspirations.

One of the most talked about positions during this transfer window has been that of striker, the club has clearly shown its need to get a player in the attack that could provide support to Marcus Rashford, who is coming off one of his best seasons, but his natural role is not as a centre forward, so the coach would be looking for offensive variants.

Much has been speculated about two players who seem to be close to arriving at Old Trafford, the first target was Harry Kane, as we already know is one of the best strikers in the Premier League, his skills and style of play are perfectly suited to the style that Ten Hag is looking for, he has also shown interest in leaving Spurs, however, the London club has done everything possible to stall the talks.

For that reason, the second option of United, the Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund has been one of the most sought after players in this transfer market, his youth and potential have made several teams in Europe try to sign him, but so far United would be winning the race for the services of the attacker, although nothing is certain yet, there would be a strong possibility that his signing would be soon.

Rasmus Hojlund deal

Manchester United have been looking for their new striker for almost two months now, the club are looking to close the deal as soon as possible to give Hojlund a chance to settle in. According to a latest update in the negotiations, the Red Devils have raised their initial offer to around €60 million, with the intention of guaranteeing the interest in the player and that the transfer does not fall through, so Ten Hag could soon be dealing with their potential striker.
