Manchester United have spent the last few weeks trying to sign Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana, the manager is confident that his arrival will fill the gap left by David de Gea's departure and the fans are excited to see a new era in goal.

André Onana is the ideal player for Ten Hag's scheme, his style of play with his feet and the security in goal are two of the qualities that the coach would have been looking for in a goalkeeper and Onana would fit perfectly, besides that another reason that made the Dutchman choose the Cameroonian goalkeeper, was that they already knew each other since they both shared a time at Ajax.

Despite already having a close relationship, the negotiations have not been easy for United, as Inter Milan have demanded more and more money for the player and have even rejected two offers, even so, the red devils would have presented a new proposal, with which the arrival of the goalkeeper at Old Trafford would be practically imminent.

This undoubtedly brings joy not only to Ten Hag who was already desperate to get a new goalkeeper to continue implementing the idea of his style of play, but also for the fans who are eagerly awaiting the second signing of the summer; however, there would be a problem in all this great story and that could affect United's summer.

Onana's price tag

Manchester United are on the verge of securing their second signing of the summer, as we know the first was Mason Mount, who was valued at 60 million pounds, now the Red Devils are closing in on the transfer of Andre Onana for 50 million euros, this will drastically reduce the budget and with it the manager's aspirations to continue covering other areas of the team.
