While André Onana remains to being the perfect option for the red devils to become the new keeper of the team, it seems that they already have another name to cover the position.

Erik ten Hag got rid of David de Gea and while the deal of André Onana seemed at one point to be inminent, it now seems that the red devils could be ready to work with this new name, now that Inter Milan and Manchester United have reached an impass that could stop the deal from actually happening in this transfer window.

Erik ten Hag was one thing clear, he is looking for a new number one keeper now that he got rid of the spanish after 12 years with the club, and now it seems that Dean Henderson could be ready to finally become that player for the team, and that could actually make him stay with the club if he does receive that new role with the team.

It was reported by “The Athletic” that the red devils manager is actually considering to make Dean Henderson the new number one keeper and finally stop the negotiations to bring Onana, mainly because Manchester United do not want to pay more than 55 million euros for the player and from Italy they insist they should get at least 65 million euros.

Dean Henderson future

The other fact is that if Dean Henderson does not receive the role of the new number one keeper for Manchester United he could be ready to finalize the deal that would finally take him to Nottingham Forest in the next season where he is currently secured the fact that he would be their starting player, but it would all depend to see what finally happes with the André Onana deal as well.
