It has been several weeks since the transfer window opened and Manchester United have been very busy this summer, trying to sign as many players as the budget will allow and improving certain areas of the pitch that need to be covered.

However, there is one issue that has not been talked about enough and should be taken into account; since the end of the season Erik Ten Hag has been very clear about who would be leaving the club, in total there are 13 players that the manager plans to sell before the market closes, however, that task has been complicated, as so far he has not been able to sell a single one.

Maguire and Fred are two of the thirteen players who would be closer to leaving the club, as there have already been offers from interested teams, however, there are players like Anthony Martial who does not seem that his situation can be clarified soon, as we know he is one of the main targets that Ten Hag has to sell this summer, as his performance and playing time have not been what the club would have been expecting.

This issue with Martial has been going on for years, every end of the season it is the same and there is never a resolution, since he joined the team, the Frenchman has not performed adequately and his departure should have been long overdue; now Ten Hag would have the opportunity to let the player go once and for all and concentrate on other matters.

Martial's time at United

Since the 15/16 season when Anthony Martial arrived at Manchester United, he has not been the player that the team expected, his poor performance has made the coach lose confidence in him, because of his position he would be expected to be the Red Devils' solution in terms of goals, however, in the 298 games he has played, he has only scored 88 goals, a very low percentage, so Ten Hag would have already designated him as one of the main targets to sell.
