Erik Ten Hag has had to make multiple decisions throughout the summer, the coach has had a hard job with the issue of the exit and the entry of new players, although the team has only been able to confirm one signing and has sold a few players without a high value Manchester United hopes that at the end of the transfer window that situation will be reversed.

The club has been involved in several rumours, some have been true and others not so much, what is true is that the manager is still looking for ways to sign players who can strengthen the club in the best way and face the start of the Premier League; however, the situation becomes complicated when you have no income from the sale of players.

That problem is something that the club has been facing for a number of years and this season it has become even more difficult due to a low budget, as over the last 3 years the club has only been able to receive £74.3 million in revenue, while spending £425 million on new signings; a staggering balance.

That is why Ten Hag is desperate to sell as many players as possible from the transfer list he put in place just at the start of the transfer window, yet United are likely to announce that one of those players the fans are calling for to leave Old Trafford is likely to stay for one more season.

The case of Anthony Martial

The French striker arrived at Manchester United as one of the most promising players in football, his great potential made the club trust him and decided to sign him in 2015 for 60 million euros, however, his performance has gone from bad to worse, so all the fans have wanted him out for some time, even so, every season he remains in the team and everything would point to this being another campaign in which Martial would stay at United.
