Erik Ten Hag continues to take all the time he has to look for a new goalkeeper, Manchester United is still not clear who he will put in that position, there has been talk of many options, but none has been able to materialize for one way or another, because of this the club will have to make a decision soon if they do not want to despair the fans.
Much has been said about Onana, the approach that the club has had with the player and the offer that United would be willing to make, however, the negotiation is not certain and the 51 million that Inter Milan are asking for, could end up stalling the talks.
Another player who was discussed as an option was the Feyenoord goalkeeper, Justin Bijlow, his price is much lower than that of Onana, he is only 25 years old and is current champion of the Eredivisie, so the interest of Ten Hag for the player could grow in the coming weeks, depending on how the situation with André Onana, who remains the priority for the club.
Finally, the player who is also rumoured but who could have less chance of joining United is the German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, his value is only 8.5 million euros, so money would not be a problem, what would make the transfer difficult is his age, as he is the same age as De Gea, so it would not make sense to replace him with him, if what they are looking for is a long term project.
The Portuguese goalkeeper of only 23 years of age, has appeared on the radar of Manchester United, after having established himself as one of the best young goalkeepers available on the market, the Red Devils have already asked for the player and his cost is similar to Onana, so the club will have to make a choice and see their priorities to sign one of the two goalkeepers.
