Manchester United has had some great players throughout its history, some are remembered for their legacy and others for historic moments that will be remembered by fans forever.

Andrey Kanchelskis was a legend of the club in the 90's, when Sir Alex Ferguson was manager, he made his debut in 1991 against Crystal Palace, since his arrival he became one of the references of the club and where he shone the most in his career, During the 5 years he was in the team he was able to win 2 Premier Leagues, an FA Cup, 2 Community Shield and an EFL Cup, in addition to that he was able to coincide with great players of the moment such as Roy Keane, Eric Cantoná or Ryan Giggs, so he was always in good company.

Ferguson had great confidence in the Russian midfielder, who, due to his great ability, speed and dribbling, had become one of the manager's favourite players. However, in the summer of 1995 and with the arrival of a young David Beckham, who would eventually be his replacement, Ferguson had to take the difficult decision to transfer him, ending his era with the Red Devils.

His post-United career was not very successful, he played for several teams such as Everton, Fiorentina, Rangers and Manchester City, as the most prominent, after that his level was going down more and more until he retired in a club in his country in 2007; from there everyone lost track of Andrey until a news would shock everyone.

The terrible event of Andrey Kanchelskis

During the year 2021 Andrey lived a very traumatic situation, because due to a dispute with the Uzbek club where he was coach, some hooded fans came to threaten him, telling him “They would break his legs" if he did not reduce the lawsuit he had against the club for lack of payments, despite the fact that they owed him 1.2 million pounds. The case eventually went to court in Russia where the situation was settled in favour of the former United player.
