Manchester United is looking at every option that they have and now they could actually be ready to send the first offer to sign this Manchester City player in the next days.

The fact is that while Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are working to sign a keeper first, they are also looking at every other position that still needs some reinforcement, and now that could mean that they are ready to try and steal a player from Pep Guardiola team in the next few days, and the deal could actually become a reality.

Aymeric Laporte has been in the Manchester City squad since 2018, and after being a really important part of the team that won the treble in this past season, a source like “Mundo Deportivo” a spanish news paper, believe that he could be Guardiola first option to leave the team, meaning that Laporte is up for grabs in this transfer window.

The fact is that the reason why “Mundo Deportivo” believes that Aymeric Laporte could be ready to leave the team is due to the fact that Guardiola is lookign at some other center backs in this transfer window and he could have literally no playing time in the next season, and that could push him to a new team in this summer.

Aymeric Laporte value

The 29 year old defender could have a value of 25 million euros, making Aymeric Laporte a great option that could reinforce the team, especially if they manage to sell Maguire first and then make the effort to sign Laporte, as he is in fact a very experienced player in the Premier League and on top of that he also knows what it takes to win titles, meaning he could contribute a lot to the Erik ten Hag team.
