Manchester United are not only looking for new reinforcements for next season, their idea is also to retain those players who in some way are fundamental pieces for the projects they have for the future, in addition to that the competitions in which the team will be present, force us to have the best possible squad.
Erik Ten Hag is a coach who observes the added value that the players can offer, this undoubtedly makes the team to be better matched so that everyone can be on the same page and that everyone can perform in the way the club expects them to do, for that reason there are some players within the squad that stand out above the rest.
Marcus Rashford is one of those players that the team has, as his entire career has been spent at Old Trafford and at 25 years of age he is already one of the key players that the team has; as we can remember he is coming off one of his best seasons in his career scoring 30 goals in all competitions and also being of great help for United to return to the Champions League.
This would have caused a great interest from several teams in England and Europe that together with the great season he did, they also knew that his contract was very soon to expire, for that reason the striker would have received much more lucrative proposals, but he would reject them all, as Rashford's intention has always been to win trophies with Manchester United.
Manchester United and Marcus Rashford are already agreeing a new contract for the player, it is said that it would last for 5 years and that he would receive 16-18 million per year approximately, which would make him one of the highest paid players in the team, but he certainly deserves it for his excellent performance.
