The takeover of Manchester United is still ongoing, the two contenders are still waiting for the decision of the Glazer family and still nobody knows who will become the new owner of the club, we can only continue to wait until the official announcement is made, however, speculation about the future of a player who would be related to Sheikh Jassim has begun to emerge.

As we already know, the Qatari Sheikh was one of the first to show interest in taking over the club, during the last few weeks he has been one of the favourites to win the race for United, ahead of his opponent, the billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe; but a drastic change in the situation, due to doubts about his financing, as well as comments that the businessman's offer is more interesting for the American family that currently owns the club, has caused Jassim to lose negotiating strength.

This despite the 6,000 billion proposal, which would also pay off the club's debt and provide a way to sign any player, as well as a complete renovation of the club's facilities, does not seem to be enough for the Qatari sheikh to keep the club.

However, something that could bring back the club's favouritism for the Qatari Sheikh, would be the speculation of his relationship with Brazilian star Neymar, who is said to have a future at PSG and that one of the destinations could be Manchester United, so, if Sheikh Jassim Al Thani will remain as the new owner, we could see the Brazilian striker wearing the shirt of the Red Devils.

Neymar's future is uncertain

The Brazilian as every year has been one of the main topics during the transfer market, some link Neymar leaving the Parc des Princes, to head to Old Trafford in case the Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim takes over Manchester United, although nothing is certain yet and there have been no talks with the 31-year-old, such a transfer would excite all the fans.
