Manchester United are still on the move with the sale of players, the club is looking for a fair offer that will allow them to continue adding new reinforcements that will help the coach to continue with his project for this season, so Scott McTominay would become the next to leave the club.
The 26-year-old Scottish defender is currently at Carrington training on the sidelines while his team-mates are preparing for their next pre-season game against Wrexham on Tuesday. The defender has spent his entire playing career at United, but has not performed as well as expected.
Although his contract runs until the end of 2025 and after being informed that he is not in plans for next season, he still had to report to Erik Ten Hag, however, this would not be for long, as the coach has the idea of selling him as soon as possible, with the intention that he can get playing time and thus be able to rebound his career that has been stagnated by the lack of opportunity he has had at United.
Scott McTominay could join Fred as the next most likely players to leave the club, a sad end for the Scotsman who was aiming to continue with the team and earn a place in the pre-season.
Scott is reportedly on the radar of a couple of Premier League clubs, who are looking for players who are not highly rated but still have a high potential that could help his development. Fulham, Nottingham Forest are two of the two clubs who have been enquiring about the defender's price and United would be willing to accept between 18-20 million for the Scottish.
