Manchester United are already preparing to start their tour of the United States, the team will fly to New York to concentrate and face Arsenal on Saturday in what would be their third game of the pre-season, as the start of the Premier League is getting closer and closer.

These preparation games are very important for the future of the team, this is where Erik Ten Hag, can analyse the players who have not had many minutes of play, come from the academy for an opportunity or are reinforcements who need to adapt to the system of play; whatever the case the coach pays close attention to their performance and based on that he can choose who will remain in the squad.

During these two pre-season games that we have had, the team has looked good, it is true that we have not seen much of the starters, but the young players have played a great role on the pitch, understanding the style of play that Ten Hag is looking for; for that reason many players from the academy have been shining during these games and all the fans are already wondering what will happen with them for this season.

Although there are still six games left of this tour that ends on August 6, what can be said is that many young players will continue to have the opportunity to show their qualities and Ten Hag will continue to stand out for trusting the academy players who in the end are the future of the club, however, not many will enjoy that, as the squad is reduced and several will have to say goodbye to the team.

The first player to leave

Matej Kovar is a young Serbian goalkeeper who has shone in the two preparatory games by keeping a clean sheet, as well as playing in the style Ten Hag wants, which is to move the ball around the defensive area and play out from the bottom, even so, the goalkeeper did not travel with the rest of the team to New York, because the coach would plan to send him on loan to Sparta Prague.
