Manchester United has had many problems recently to find new young players, who can perform at a high level and can be expected for the club, however, there is one in particular who came as one of the great promises, with great expectations, but his passage through the team has not been as expected.

Jadon Sancho is a footballer who arrived from Borussia Dortmund, in the German team he had his best moments, he was one of the great stars not only of the club, but of football; Manchester United quickly set its sights on the player and by 2020, which was the first approach that the team had with Dortmund, the latter was asking 108 million pounds for Sancho, an amount that the red devils were not willing to pay.

The following year the club was finally able to buy the player for £73 million, £35 million less than what Dortmund were asking for the first time; however, the real problem with Jadon Sancho is that he has not looked worth the money in the two seasons he has been at Old Trafford, his poor performance on the pitch has highlighted the player's poor form.

For that reason, coach Erik Ten Hag is planning to sell Sancho, whose value has dropped by half, so the club would have to let the striker go for a lower price that suits both parties as the striker still has a contract with the Red Devils until 2025.

Comparison of Sancho at Dortmund and United

Jadon Sancho was one of the best players in the Bundesliga scoring 38 goals and 51 assists, something impressive if you take into account his age at the time, now with two seasons at United, the striker has not been able to adapt to the Premier League, where he has only had 9 goals and 6 assists; a very poor performance that has made Ten Hag may make the decision to sell him before the end of the summer.
