Manchester United manager wants to get rid of Harry Maguire in this transfer window, and now it seems that the defender has some demands before he leave the team.

Erik ten Hag and Harry Maguire relationship is completely broken now that the manager has stripped the center back of the captain armband for the next season and also he has made sure that Maguire knows that he is not going to be take into account for the next season, and that almost any offer on the table for him would be taken into some serious consideration.

Now it seems that Harry Maguire has accepted the fact that he is going to leave the team in this transfer window, and while it seems that the defender is ready to make the move, he is also ready to demand certain things from the Manchester United before he leaves the team that would actually complicate the move to get rid of the defender.

The fact is that Harry Maguire is asking for half of the money that he has left in his contract with Manchester United, that amount currently goes up to 20 million euros, that means that if the red devils manage to find an offer good enough to part ways with the defender, they would need to considere the fact that they would pay 20 million euros directly to Maguire.

Harry Maguire value

With that in mind it seems that the red devils are expecting to get somewhere in the region of 40 million euros to get rid of Harry Maguire, that means that half of the deal would go straight to him and the other half would allow Erik ten Hag and the team to complete some more deals in the transfer window, including the replacament for Harry Maguire position.
