Harry Maguire has been the target of a lot of critics in the past days with his own goal that he scored in the England National team, and that caused for the former defender of Manchester United to give some advice to him.
After Harry Maguire decided to stay in the Manchester United for this Premier League season, it is a fact that the current red devils defender is not going through a good start of the season, with him being the last option on the bench of the team for Ten Hag, and with his own goal that he scored in his last participation in the England National team.
Gary Neville said the following, “I have been there… Every player has. When I lost my confidence, I saw a psychologist to help me through those moments. But there is nothing you can do other than show up, try your best and not give in. At some point he will return.” those wohere the words of the former Manchester United to Harry Maguire in his current form.
“I would not say I am a person who struggles with pressure mentally,” he declared. “I have been through a lot in the last couple of years and I have been Manchester United captain for nearly four years." those where some of the words of Maguire, that seems to be a direct response to Neville and his advice to get some professional help in the next few days.
“I am disappointed with the own goal but that is football. You are a centre-back and you put yourselves in those positions. I am really pleased with how I performed in the second half and how I dealt with it.” Harry Maguire ended, and it seems that the defender is ready to go back to the team and fight for his starting role.
At this point it seems that there are not going to be any changes in the Erik ten Hag decision to send Harry Maguire to the bench of the team for the rest of the Premier season.
