Manchester United have probably had one of the greatest summers in recent years, the club has had a good run in pre-season, the team has looked good, they have signed the players that Erik Ten Hag asked for from the start, so the club is looking forward to the start of the season. 

The coach should be very satisfied with the way things have been going for United, although the process is not over yet, it could be said that we are heading in the right direction towards a new era for the club, the two signings that Ten Hag has added have created a lot of expectation for all the fans, as they both have big shoes to fill.

The arrival of André Onana has also had an impact, because after 12 years of not changing goalkeeper, now it is time for the team to move to a new era in goal; the signing of the Cameroonian goalkeeper was of the total liking of the coach for his way of playing and because it fits the style that United wants to manage, for that reason Ten Hag always preferred Onana; besides that the goalkeeper has given some comments that would certainly be excited to the fans.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper has had a close relationship with one of United's greatest players, Edwin Van der Sar is a legend for the club and in his time as Ajax manager he had the opportunity to coincide with André Onana, for that reason they have a close relationship and Onana would have mentioned that his history with United seeks to be like that of Van der Sar.
