The Glazers have pushed the candidates for the sale of the club to the limit, it has been more than eight months since the American family said they would look at options to bring the club under new ownership, yet Manchester United are still unable to clarify what appears to be an increasingly complicated situation.

Over a month ago Sheikh Jassim Al Thani and businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe put their proposals on the table, during which time the Glazers have spent time deciding which is the best decision and although we know it is by no means simple, they have kept both candidates waiting with no response, cutting off any communication and leaving them in the dark about the situation.

No doubt this has brought frustration for the Qatari group who seemed to be the stronger contender of the two and the one the Glazers were going to go for, but now we are all in uncertainty, as the process has already taken much longer than the time it was supposed to have taken; for that reason Sheikh Jassim is thinking of pulling out as he does not feel sure of the current owners' intention to sell United.

This could be a huge blow for all the fans who had hoped to have the Qatari Sheikh as the new owner, due to the promises he made, the visions he had for the future and the project that would return Manchester United to the top of Europe; now we can only wait to see what resolution the glazers can give to both offers.

A hopeful future with Sheikh Jassim

A few weeks ago the Qatari group proclaimed itself close to becoming the new owner of Manchester United, as its proposal offered 6,000 billion which would be distributed for the debt, renovation of the facilities and for the reinforcements that Ten Hag had in mind; this undoubtedly began to excite the fans who hope that a new era begins for the club.
