Manchester United have been preparing for their pre-season fixtures, the team first concentrated in Carrington and then travelled to Norway and Scotland where they had games, first against Leeds and then Lyon; now the club are in New York to kick off their tour of the United States, starting with a game against Arsenal on Saturday.
This type of games have helped the coach to see the performance of the players, as they come from a holiday period so the preseason helps them to get into rhythm for the start of the Premier League; one of the players who has not participated in these games has been Christian Eriksen, who as we can remember is coming off an ankle injury he suffered in an FA Cup match.
For that reason, we have not been able to see him in action and it will probably be difficult to see him in the pre-season, as Erik Ten Hag would look for a way to take care of him so that he does not have to aggravate his injury, however, misfortunes for one, are often opportunities for others, this is said because the coach has been putting more young players during these matches.
Surprisingly they have made a big difference and have understood perfectly what the manager is looking for on the pitch, as United have won both their games, not allowing a goal and showing a lot of quality, so speculation has begun that some of the first team players could be in danger of losing their place.
The 18 year old Englishman has been one of the best players in the two games the club has played, the coach has seen his great performance and his potential, so he has called him to be part of the first team of Manchester United, this should certainly worry Eriksen who after his injury could lose his place and be occupied by Kobbie who at the moment is the sensation of the club.
