It has been 8 months since the Glazers broke the news that they would be looking for new alternatives for the future of Manchester United, now despite many rumours it could be that the team will finally get a new owner, as we know during this time there have only been two candidates, Sheikh Jassim Al Thani and businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, both with a great interest in keeping the team.

While we know that the Glazers would not want to sell the club so easily, it is true that coupled with the offer already made by Jassim Al Thani and the series of protests made by fans in recent weeks, it would put some pressure on the board, which would make the Glazer family finally take things seriously and make a decision, which no doubt all of us fans are already looking forward to hearing.

Indications that this story may be coming to an end are that Manchester United's share price has risen by 5% so far, this rise may have followed Sheikh Jassim's bid for the club, which would make United's imminent purchase more certain, and finally, the price of Man Utd's hare has almost doubled since the Glazers announced they were considering selling the team in November.

Fans, players and the entire coaching staff await the early resolution that has caused commotion in recent days with the various news reports; let's hope this is just the beginning of a new era for United with the Glazers out of the institution.

The offer Jassim has already put on the table for United

Sheikh Jassim is very close to becoming the owner of Manchester United after making an offer of 6 billion, which includes a financial pathway for Erik Ten Hag's planned new signings and for the club's facilities, as well as a payment of the club's outstanding debts, making it an offer the Glazer's could not refuse.
