Lisandro Martinez is surely having the best season of his life since his move to Europe about four years ago which started off with three years at Ajax under Erik Ten Hag before reuniting with the Dutch manager in Manchester United after the summer move.

The Red Devils hit one of their recent targets when they lifted the Carabao Cup title at Wembley a few weeks ago, to mark the beginning of Erik Ten Hag's era at the club, as they plan to disrupt Manchester City and Liverpool's grip as the top clubs in England.

Lisandro Martinez played all part of the final after an on-and-off starting role at the club as Erik Ten Hag tweaked the lineup for a consistent period of time. The Argentine was partnered with Rapheal Varane at the back line, as Manchester United became crowned champions of the Carabao Cup.

It was absolutely a celebration within the fanbases and players for triumph.
