It was not so long ago Manchester United decided that they were going to hire the highly-rated Dutchman from Ajax to become the manager of the biggest club in England. It was a move that was speculated about in the media for weeks.

Erik Ten Hag was received at Manchester United to a buzzing reception as fans trooped out in their thousands to come and show their support as well as welcome him to the club. He was highly respected and appreciated for the work he did with Ajax over the past three seasons.

Fans loved him more after his first press conference where he set out some very strong rules and demands of what he expected from his squad as well as what they are meant to do to bring back the fear factor that teams had for the Red Devils.

As well as Bruno Fernandes who is now leading the charge for United and Portugal at Qatar following his return to top form.
