Fans can smile, Andre Onana could be close to Old Trafford and Ten Hag celebrates

Manchester United are reportedly set to land their second signing of the summer, with Ten Hag feeling buoyed by the news and fans hoping to see him in action as soon as possible. 

What seemed complicated may yet come to pass, as with the signing of Mason Mount, Manchester United struggled to agree a deal with Inter Milan for Cameroon goalkeeper André Onana; the club was very interested in the player, long before it decided not to renew David de Gea, so with his departure it would open the door for the team to make negotiations and although it took a while because Milan demanded more money for the player, everything would seem that the goalkeeper would be very close to arriving at Old Trafford. 

Ten Hag wanted to be able to close the signing of Onana, as his idea was always to bring him to the club with the intention of starting a new era in goal, besides that signing him would mean that the coach could impose even more his style of play, as the handling of the ball with the feet and the confidence that the goalkeeper can offer, are two of the qualities that the Dutchman most values, for that reason he always preferred Onana instead of De Gea. 

Now according to reports from Fabrizio Romano, the arrival of the Cameroonian is only a matter of time, as the club is already agreeing personal terms and he could arrive in England in the next 24 hours; this undoubtedly reassures the coach and the fans who for a moment had thought that the signing of Onana would not be possible due to the obstacles that the Italian team would have put to the board.

Manchester United are already preparing everything for the arrival of André Onana, the personal terms are already being discussed and there is a possibility that the contract will be for 5 years and between 6-7 million pounds a year, which would be £135,000 a week; it is also reported that Inter Milan have accepted the last offer of £50 million plus £5 million in bonuses, so the arrival of Onana is expected to be on Monday.
