Manchester United want to continue their preparations for the start of the Premier League, the team is concentrating for the third preparation game, however, Erik Ten Hag is still missing a player who has been on the lookout all summer.

As we already know during this transfer window, the team has only been able to sign Mason Mount, it has been two weeks since the English midfielder was presented as a new reinforcement for next season, Ten Hag has been able to make use of the player in the two pre-season games; although he has only given him the opportunity to play the first 45 minutes, even so, Mount has felt comfortable on the pitch and the fans can look forward to his performance.

However, that is not the only player the manager is hoping to bring in for these games, André Onana is the goalkeeper Ten Hag has been asking for. Since the departure of David de Gea, the club has been without a first-choice keeper and the Cameroonian was the first and only one to fill the position.

Manchester United are now very close to being able to sign a goalkeeper that the manager wanted so badly, as since they were together at Ajax the two have had a great relationship, so his arrival at the club, although somewhat complicated, there was always a great openness and interest on Onana's part to come to Old Trafford.

André Onana travels to New York

Manchester United are currently on a tour of the United States, where they will play four games in a 10 day period, the whole team is already focused for these matches, however, in the last few days it was announced that the club has already signed Andre Onana for 52 million euros plus 5 million in bonuses, the goalkeeper passed his medical at Carrington and now he is flying to New York to be present for the match between United and Arsenal on Saturday.
