During his time in charge of Manchester United, manager Erik Ten Hag has been able to take advantage of the young players he has in the squad, giving them opportunities to perform better on the pitch and gain more experience, so that they can realise their full potential.

This means that less experienced or youth players are given the opportunity to show their potential, with the idea that they reach a point where they can become key players for the club; although many of the teams in Europe no longer give the required importance to young players, Manchester United is one of the few clubs that still continues to bet on the youth, because it is the future of our team.

But as always there are cases in which not always everything can go well and even if it has not ended in a resounding failure, the manager has to let go of any type of player, whether veteran or young and the reasons can vary greatly, it may be for performance, for economic reasons or for some other reason.

Amad Diallo, the 20-year-old Ivorian who played for Sunderland FC last season, surprised and excited United fans with a season of 13 goals and three assists in the Championship, yet Erik Ten Hag would consider sending him out on loan with the intention of gaining more experience and, in the future, he could return to United.

Leeds most interested in signing Amad

Due to Diallo's excellent performances in the second division and United's interest in loaning him out, Leeds have been one of the first teams to look at the option of bringing in the Ivorian youngster to help them after their relegation from the Premier League.
