Manchester United facing a tough test against Brendan Rodgers's Leicester City side in the ongoing game at Old Trafford. The stadium is currently filled as the Red Devils fans return to watch their team player at home after over a week away.
It was not the start that Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag had prepared for as they were under intense siege from the Foxes of Leicester. The intricate passes of the visitors in the opening twenty minutes saw Erik Ten Hag scramble down thoughts on the touchline.
The partnership of Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez was torn apart when Harvey Barnes found himself one on one with David De Gea in under ten minutes after the kickoff. But was denied by the smart defending of the Spanish goalkeeper who thwarted the attacking effort for a corner.
De Gea was called into action again before the twenty minutes mark after Kelechi Iheanacho was allowed a free header in United box. A fully stretched De Gea had to make a goal-line save to deny the Leicester City striker. This saw United finally waking up in the game.
Erik Ten Hag was frustrated about his team's nervy start to the game as they conceded six shots on target from the visitor. But his frustration turned to a big smile when Bruno Fernandes sent Rashford through on goal against the Leicester City goalkeeper. Rashford took his time and placed a powered shot into the back of the net as United took a 1-0 lead. United currently leads 3-0 at the moment.
