Manchester United have had a poor first half, the first fifteen minutes of the match were dominated by Real Madrid who took the lead just five minutes into the game; Ten Hag's side struggled to adapt to the game and ended the first half at a disadvantage.
One piece of bad news for the club was an injury to young star Kobbie Mainoo, who was forced to leave the field just minutes into the game, a foul by Casemiro on Rodrygo resulted in an ankle injury to Mainoo who took the impact of the Real Madrid player's fall.
While the 18-year-old star was being attended to by the medical staff, it was clear that he was in some discomfort as he could not even leave the pitch on his own two feet, he had to be helped by two physiotherapists, who informed the coach that he would not be able to continue; while the substitution of Eriksen was being prepared, while United were down to 10 men, he allowed Jude Bellingham's goal to be scored.
Kobbie has been one of Erik Ten Hag's star performers during the tour of the United States, in fact, he has started four of the five games the club has played this pre-season, in addition to that his great performance and development has made the coach already have him in the first squad for the start of the Premier League.
Manchester United are hopeful that the young player's injury is nothing serious, although he struggled to leave the pitch due to a possible ankle injury, the medical staff are still checking the severity, but are hopeful that he can return for the games against Lens and Athletic Bilbao and be ready for the start of the Premier League.
