David de Gea's surprise message amid uncertainty over his future

There has been a lot of speculation recently about David de Gea's future, whether he will renew with the club or leave for another country; what is true is that there is still nothing definite at this point, but the rumours keep coming out and combined with the messages that the goalkeeper posts on social networks, it would give fans a lot to think about. 

De Gea's recent history with United has not been an easy one, his drop in performance and his mistakes have made the fans divided on the issue of his continuity; in addition to that at the end of the season Manchester United let the Spanish goalkeeper's contract expire, which made him a free agent to sign with the team of his choice. 

During this time Ten Hag would be looking for a replacement for the goalkeeper, there has been talk of many players who could come to fill that position, but due to the small budget available, the team has been unable to find the right goalkeeper who can replace De Gea, so negotiations could be opened again so that both parties could reach an agreement.

Despite this and the speculation that De Gea could return to the Red Devils, we must not forget that Ten Hag is still looking for a new goalkeeper who has the characteristics of good footwork, security and confidence in goal, so the arrival of André Onana could happen sooner than a possible renewal of De Gea.
