The former England midfielder is one of the greatest players to have worn the Red Devils shirt, his legacy and iconic moments are still intact, so every time Beckham comments or gives his opinion on the subject, all fans listen to him with great attention, because with his career he has earned the right to speak on any subject.

David Beckham, who retired a decade ago, is the owner and president of MLS club Inter Miami, who recently made one of the biggest moves in history by bringing Lionel Messi to his team, which has brought jubilation and joy to the Briton who now has even more of the spotlight.

For that reason, several media around the world have tried to get an interview with Beckham and he gave one to the English media "The Athletic", in which they were talking about Messi, but also about Manchester United and how the former player perceived the future of the team, as well as the expectations he has for this new start of the season.

David Beckham also spoke about Erik Ten Hag and this is what he had to say about it: "He hasn't been the best of times for Man Utd, on the pitch or off the pitch. To see Erik come in is a breath of fresh air; he's had to make some tough decisions, but he's done it in the most elegant way and in a way that has the fans on his side". All this as a form of praise for the great job the coach has been doing with the club.

Beckham on the Glazers

The former midfielder also spoke on the subject of the sale of the club and the Glazers saying: "It's time for them to go, it's purely because the fans want them to. Once you lose the fans, especially like Man Utd fans, it's hard to get them back. Obviously, they've achieved a lot, but there needs to be a change." So likewise the club legend hopes the American family will soon leave United.
