The legendary striker shows that he still has a lot to give to the team

Manchester United managed to win against Sheriff in the UEFA Europa League match by an overwhelming score of 3-0 at Old Trafford. This game was particularly dangerous because the visiting team was one of the few teams that could beat reigning UEFA Champions League champions Real Madrid.

Another important detail of the game was that Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the team and the starting lineup. The Portuguese player was punished by Erik ten Hag because in last week's Premier League match the striker left his team. He refused to play and left the field, which the technical team did not like.

As a consequence, the Dutch manager Erik ten Hag decided to separate them from the team and also leave him out of the next Premier League match against Chelsea. There the Red Devils were not very aggressive but managed a last-minute equalizer thanks to a goal from Casemiro.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the third goal against Sheriff

Despite having a very troubled first half, Manchester United managed to win their UEFA Europa League game. And the best news was for Cristiano Ronaldo who scored his second goal in the competition. Clearly showing that he still has a lot to contribute to the team. Can ten hag keep him on the bench despite these results?
