Manchester United knows that they need a world class striker that can deliver goals in the most important games of the season, and they are looking to sign Lautaro, but it might not be that easy.
The most recent world cup winner is looking to take his football to another level, and the Premier League sounds like a really good place to do so, in fact Lautaro has already told his representatives that if he moves to another team he wants it to be a team in the Premier League, that puts Manchester United as a great option for him.
On top of that Erik ten Hag knows that signing Lautaro Martinez could be easier than signing Harry Kane, the argentinian is valued at 70 million euros and he is only a 25 year old player, while Harry Kane is worth a total of 120 million but for a 31 year old striker that might not have that much time left at the highest level possible.
To the run of signing Lautaro Martinez there is a new contender that is also in the Premier League, Chelsea is the team that is looking to sign him, especially with the arrival of an argentinian manager like Mauricio Pochettino he is trying to bring some players to his team that could help bring Chelsea to the top of the league once again.
They are set to send the first offer in the following days but it is a fact that Chelsea does has the power to buy the player and that it seems once again that is all on the players court to decide where he wants to go, the advantage Manchester United could have is to offer him play in the Champions League the very next season.
